WEST POINT FOUNDRY BUILDING: CONSTRUCTION

Point University has completed demolition on the West Point Foundry building, located at the corner of Second and Ninth Avenue. The new structure will be home for approximately 500 students.

The West Point Foundry, built in the late 1800s has been home to many different businesses from wholesale grocery warehouse to office space. Point University plans to salvage different elements from the original structure and incorporate them into the design of the new residence halls.

The new residence halls are a part of the Point University plan for the future, bringing students closer to campus and the Lanier Academic Center, mutually beneficial for the student experience and local business.
