Residence Life

Welcome to residence life at Point University! When you live on campus at Point, you experience college life at its fullest. Living on campus means allows you have maximum time to enjoy and participate in campus life activities. The Point community will be your home away from home for the next four years, and we encourage you to make the most of it! If you have any questions, please contact the Student Life Office at 706-385-1061.

Students enrolled full-time at Point University are required to live in campus housing for their freshmen and sophomore years. Exceptions to this policy are granted to students who are living at home with parents or legal guardians within 50 miles of the Point University campus. Students who are involved in the athletic program at Point University are required to live in campus housing through their junior year. Students who transfer to Point University are required to live in campus housing during their first year of enrollment, regardless of class standing.

Point University believes that living in the community created by the University is a very important part of the learning experience. It is a time for students to develop independence in the context of a Christian community where direction, counsel and oversight is provided. For students participating in the athletic department, on-campus housing provides multiple opportunities for team development.

Point University provides student in campus housing opportunities for tutoring, recreation, social interaction and spiritual formation. We believe that these activities reflect important ingredients of what a Christian college experience should be.
