Associate of Arts Programs
Access offers associate degrees in general education, Christian ministries, human relations and organizational leadership (to learn more about the courses required for each degree, view the
Access catalog). The associate degree allows working adults to develop critical thinking abilities, communication skills and the Christian values necessary to become effective servant-leaders, both in ministry and in the workplace. The associate degree typically represents the first half of a bachelor's degree, preparing students to move on to advanced studies in a bachelor of science degree program.
Bachelor of Science Programs
Access offers bachelor's degrees in Christian ministries, human relations and organizational leadership (to learn more about the courses required for each degree, view the

The bachelor's degree in Christian ministries is designed to equip working adults with an increased understanding of Scripture and enhanced skills for various church leadership roles. Students may also be preparing for a career in full-time ministry or a graduate seminary program. The coursework encourages both personal and spiritual growth by emphasizing Christian values, ethical principles and effective interpersonal communications. Students enter this program of study in order to develop their spiritual gifts, strengthen their faith, and enhance their knowledge of Christian principles.
The bachelor's degree in human relations integrates a Christian emphasis with the basic research, theories and techniques of the helping professions.
Point University is committed to helping train students who will become Christian counselors, and believes that the needs of God's people can and will be met through those trained in our human relations program. Because a graduate degree is expected in the field of counseling, the program has the preparation of students for graduate school as a primary goal.
The bachelor's degree in organizational leadership is designed to equip working adults with management and leadership skills appropriate for careers in corporate, nonprofit and many other settings. The coursework encourages both personal and spiritual growth by emphasizing Christian values, ethical principles and effective interpersonal communications. Students enroll in the organizational leadership program for many reasons, such as advancing or changing careers or preparing for further studies at the graduate level. Students will learn critical thinking and problem-solving skills, communication skills, teamwork and leadership strategies.
