The bachelor's degree in Christian ministries is designed to equip working adults with an increased understanding of Scripture and enhanced skills for various church leadership roles. Students may also be preparing for a career in full-time ministry or a graduate seminary program. The coursework encourages both personal and spiritual growth by emphasizing Christian values, ethical principles and effective interpersonal communications. Students enter this program of study in order to develop their spiritual gifts, strengthen their faith, and enhance their knowledge of Christian principles.
The bachelor's degree in human relations integrates a Christian emphasis with the basic research, theories and techniques of the helping professions. Point University is committed to helping train students who will become Christian counselors, and believes that the needs of God's people can and will be met through those trained in our human relations program. Because a graduate degree is expected in the field of counseling, the program has the preparation of students for graduate school as a primary goal.
