Point's Access Student Services Office exists to provide programs and services that impact the quality of student life -- supporting academic and professional success, spiritual formation and commitments to living in community. West Point Resources
ID Cards
An ID card is issued to each student when he or she enrolls. Students are required to carry their ID cards when they are on University property. Cards are required for entrance to some on-campus facilities. Students may also put funds on their cards for use in the dining hall and at campus vending machines. For more information, visit the

Academic Center
The Academic Center, located in downtown West Point, is the University’s primary classroom building at the main campus. It houses a variety of student facilities including classrooms, game rooms, the
Teacher Media Center, a café area, the
Student Life Office and the
Learning Commons.
Textbooks
Point University currently does not operate an on-site bookstore, but textbooks are provided by Point and distributed to Access students every five weeks coinciding with the start of new courses. Students seeking to purchase Point apparel or other branded items are encouraged to visit our
online bookstore.
Educational Resource Center, Writing Center and Learning Commons
The
Educational Resource Center, or ER, is located on the first floor of the Academic Center. The ER provides help with study skills, note-taking skills, time management, professional development and test-taking skills. The Writing Center, located in the ER, can also help you develop your college-level writing skills. The first floor of the Academic Center also houses the
Learning Commons, a modern library focused primarily on electronic resources.
McKinney's Coffeehouse
McKinney's Coffeehouse is a student-staffed coffee shop located in the dining hall in downtown West Point a few blocks away from the Academic Center. The McKinney's menu includes coffee, hot chocolate, Italian sodas, smoothies and other seasonal items.
Counseling Services
Any student who is struggling to adjust, or is simply going through a tough time in life, is encouraged to seek counseling through the
Spiritual Formation Office (call 706-385-1450). Point University utilizes a counseling intern to provide on-campus counseling services for students. Students desiring counseling may also be referred to appropriate off-campus services. Consultations are confidential.

In encouraging students to grow spiritually, we offer a wide range of ministries and opportunities, including chapel, small groups and prayer circles. See the

East Point Resources

Hathcock Center
The Hathcock Center, located on Dodson Drive, is Point’s primary classroom building at the East Point off-site location. It houses a variety of student facilities including classrooms, student lounges with televisions, the Heritage Room and a bookroom.
Library
The Library located at the East Point location provides a wide variety of resources, services and technology to both students and faculty. The library collection includes 65,000 volumes and a variety of online journals and other research sources. Research assistance is available to students at the main desk on the upper floor of the library. The library also houses a variety of study areas, a computer lab and the
Educational Resource Center (ER).
Bookroom
Point University currently does not operate an on-site bookstore, but textbooks are provided by Point and distributed to Access students every five weeks coinciding with the start of new courses. The Peachtree City bookroom is located on the second floor, immediately to the left of the elevator. Students seeking to purchase Point apparel or other branded items are encouraged to visit our
online bookstore.
Computer Lab
Our Peachtree City facility houses a computer lab featuring six desktop computers, two networked printers and workspace for up to 10 students at any given time. The computer lab is available to students during all regular business hours, and remains accessible while evening classes are in session on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
COMPASS, CLEP and DSST Testing
At this time, CLEP, DSST and COMPASS testing through Point University is available exclusively at our Peachtree City location. Point students from all campuses/sites are welcome to schedule test sessions; appointments are secured on a first-come, first-served basis. Please call the Peachtree City main desk at 678-593-3100 for more information concerning test availability and appointment options.
