RESIDENCE LIFE MANAGER
Point University is seeking a Residence Life Manager for the West Point campus. The Residence Life Manager works to provide students with an on-campus housing experience that facilitates learning in a Christian community environment. He or she is responsible for the operation and maintenance of on-campus housing opportunities for traditional students.
Duties and Responsibilities

UNARMED SECURITY OFFICER (Part-Time)
Point University is searching for a part-time security officer. Security officers are responsible for:
- Patrolling of campus buildings and property
- Maintaining safe environment for campus community
- Performing building lock-ups and openings
- Serving as school representative to campus visitors during after-hours meetings and events. Contacting emergency response personnel in case of an emergency.
- Contacting maintenance personnel in case of after-hours maintenance problems
- Responding to campus situations involving emergency assistance or life-threatening situations
- Issuing traffic warnings, citations, and supervising parking control
- Reporting any incidents of improper behavior to the Director of Security.
Minimum Requirements: The position requires effective written and oral communication skills, a calm demeanor, and the ability to provide emergency aid in times of need. Qualified candidates must maintain credibility and standards of high integrity within the public and campus environments. The individual should be non-confrontational and customer service focused. Qualified candidates will have a valid driver’s license.
Physical Requirements: The position requires the following physical abilities: walking rounds of campus property; providing emergency assistance as required; ability to work in changing climate and under any weather conditions.

Schedule: Shift work, varies. Security is a 24-hour operation. Part-time positions are scheduled for 16-25 hours per week based on scheduling needs.
Current openings are for part-time, weekend shifts. The shift operation hours are as follows: 8AM – 4 PM, 4 PM – 12AM, 12AM – 8AM. Other hours may be scheduled as needed.

DIRECTOR OF ATHLETICS
Point University is accepting applications for the position of Athletic Director. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Head Women's Lacrosse Coach
Point desires to begin a Women’s Lacrosse team and is accepting resumes for the Head Coach position. This position will begin in the fall of 2013 to recruit the team for the 2014-2015 inaugural season of Women’s Lacrosse. The Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach reports to the Athletic Director.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
General

Coaching

Head Athletic Trainer
The Head Athletic Trainer is responsible for overseeing the Point University Athletic Training Staff to insure that proper and legal medical care is provided to all student athletes. Their responsibilities include but are not limited to all aspects of the program including pre participation physicals, medical evaluation and treatment, physical therapy and referrals for further treatment. The Head Trainer will comply with all rules and regulations set forth by the National Athletic Trainers Association and Point University. The Head Trainer will have full knowledge of and abide by the provisions detailed in this job description as well as all written or verbal policies, procedures and instructions established by administration in the Point University Staff Handbook.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
At minimum, the Head Athletic Trainer should have a Bachelor’s Degree with a Master’s Degree preferred. Previous athletic training experience is required.

- Must have the capability to lift injured athletes during treatment.

Traditional Admission Counselor
Point University is seeking an admission counselor. The admission counselor serves as the primary contact for prospective students interested in the undergraduate program at Point University. This position is multi-faceted, so the ability to multi-task and produce in high stress environments is highly encouraged. ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES

Database Support Specialist

Information Technology Department. Reporting directly to the Senior
Application Developer, the Database Support Specialist provides
maintenance, training, and support for the administrative systems
(CampusVue) and web applications.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Support campus users on CampusVue Student, the campus ERP system;
- Design and develop reports for users;
- Work with users to reengineer business processes;
- Create stored procedures, triggers and views;
- Create web reports and online forms for end users, and integrate the web forms with the campus ERP system;

Chemistry Laboratory Instructor
Point University is seeking a part-time instructor to join the Math and Science Department. Reporting directly to the department chair for the Math and Sciences Department, the chemistry laboratory instructor teaches courses in several chemistry classes for both fall and spring semesters. This position is located in West Point, Ga.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The chemistry laboratory instructor will teach General Chemistry I and Organic Chemistry I for the fall 2012 semester, and General Chemistry II and Organic Chemistry II for the spring 2013 semester. The fall 2012 laboratory courses are tentatively scheduled for Monday and Wednesday afternoons and one section per course. The instructor will work closely with the lecturer and be involved in various aspects of course development. He or she will also oversee the efficient set up of laboratories, including preparation of chemicals, equipment and instruments. The instructor is required to properly handle hazardous wastes, grade laboratory reports and exams, and maintain laboratory organization and cleanliness.

- Bachelors and master’s degrees in chemistry; graduate students who wish to gain teaching experience may also apply.
