Point University believes that the community of God’s people worshiping together is an important aspect of spiritual formation. In order to make that happen on our campus, Point University offers a variety of events on a regular basis to enhance the process of spiritual formation and Christian community among our students, faculty and staff.
Collaboration Area Events
Multiple collaboration area events (small, focused groups held in the Academic Center’s four collaboration spaces) are held each week to complement what we are doing in more public worship oriented events.
Weekly Holy Communion Services
Every Thursday at 7:30 a.m., a Holy Communion service takes place at West Point Presbyterian Church. The Point community, as well as the Greater Valley Area communities, are welcome to attend.
Weekly Chapel Services
Chapel services are held on a weekly basis at the West Point Presbyterian Church. Preachers for these services are encouraged to address the spiritual formation theme for the academic year. The theme for the 2012-13 Academic Year is BUILD – Build our university, our community, our relationships with others, our future, our relationship with God.

Community Chapel Events
On the third Thursday of every month at 7 p.m. a community-wide chapel service is
held at the Lanett First United Methodist Church, which is large
enough to seat most of our Point University community.
