What are your research interests?

My current consulting and research interests include employee engagement, leadership, maximizing human capital, developing organizational cultures for strategic competitive advantage, and the practical application of management training in the business environment. I regularly work with community and business leaders to help them become more effective managers and leaders and to develop strategies to better their organizations. These experiences are then translated into the classroom to help my students understand some of today’s most relevant and challenging business problems.

Are there any interesting facts about yourself that you would like to share with new or current Point students?

Prior to joining the faculty at Point in 2010, my work experiences included: leadership development and human capital consulting, international campus ministry in Spain and Thailand, project management for a software consulting firm and a short-term consulting engagement in Beijing, China, working with a global supply chain and logistics company. I currently reside in LaGrange, Georgia, and attend Spring Road Christian Church. I love hunting, hiking, boating and most of all spending time with my amazing wife Allison and two beautiful children Aida and Cecil.
