Organizational Leadership Degree

Point University’s organizational leadership degree equips students with first-level preparation for business leadership and management, as well as a broad grounding in the liberal arts. Graduates may also continue their studies to earn the Bachelor of Science degree in organizational leadership. The organizational leadership degree program focuses on leadership in organizational contexts in professional, business, and other applied fields.

Students will learn by using critical thinking and problem-solving skills, communication skills, teamwork and different styles of leadership. Point University’s organizational leadership degree is designed for students seeking a practical approach to their educational experience. Students study with highly skilled professionals who have both academic and practical experience in a variety of business and nonprofit settings. The program is designed to foster essential skills necessary to succeed in a variety of business settings, including management, marketing, accounting and finance, change management, organizational leadership, strategic planning, as well as business law and ethics.

Associate of Arts in Organizational Leadership

The Associate of Arts in Organizational Leadership equips students with a broad grounding in the liberal arts, along with foundational elements of business leadership, management, and accounting.

Program Goals

Point University’s curriculum is designed to expand the student’s ability for creative thinking, innovative problem-solving, and inspirational leadership. The A.A. in organizational leadership builds on the mission and goals of Point University in order to attain Point’s general education competencies and accomplish the following program goals and student learning objectives:

1. Develop professionals who can manage human, financial, and physical resources to achieve stated objectives.
2. Prepare graduates to utilize computer technology and apply mathematical concepts for problem solving and decision-making in business enterprises.
3. Equip students to apply basic content, principles, and methodologies of the primary areas of knowledge, including the Humanities, Fine Arts, Social and Behavioral Sciences, Natural Sciences, and Mathematics.
4. Equip students with a foundation in biblical theology and worldview issues.
5. Equip students with essential habits and skills for lifelong learning and success.
