In the classroom Alan focuses on the practical applications of business and management education for the betterment of his students and the organizations they will one day be a part of. Dr. Kemper states, “Cognitive learning is only valuable to the extent that it can be applied. Real, life changing, learning happens when you are forced to apply concepts and theories in the real world. My goal is to live and work at the intersection academic theory and practical application. In the Point Business Department we want to provide our students with the academic tools, and practical experiences to be influencers in their companies, communities, and churches.”
