Jeff received a Doctor of Management in September 1999 from Webster University in St. Louis, MO, his MBA with MIS Emphasis in May 1994 from Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville, IL, attended his Graduate Program in Accounting at Auburn University in Auburn, AL, and received his BS in Accounting in April 1986 from Missouri Baptist University in St. Louis, MO. Jeff has a track record in university administration for executing financial turnarounds and supporting growth. He also has 12 years of experience in the position of Vice President and Chief Financial Officer as well as 13 years of experience as a full-time business professor and/or department chair. Jeff still serves as a financial and management consulting on select projects and he serves on five SACSCOC committees.

Professional Certifications and Memberships
Jeff is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Management Accountant. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Institute of Management Accountants, Institute of Internal Auditors, and a member of Beta Gamma Sigma—AACSB Honor Society.
Research and Consulting
Jeff did his Dissertation on Organizational Leadership and Culture at Chick-fil-A, Inc. He consults on implementations of internal controls for businesses and provides financial analysis and management advice and assistance to businesses and individuals. As a licensed CPA he has conducted audits, reviews, and compilations. Jeff has also given financial evaluations for domestic and international universities seeking SACS accreditation.
