Payment is due the first day of a new term. Students who have not paid in full by the first day of a term will be dropped from their classes.

WHY DOES TUITION INCREASE?
At most colleges, students can expect a modest tuition increase each academic year. This is due to factors such as inflation, increased cost of providing educational services, and so on. At Point University, you can rest assured that we will always do our best to keep the cost of a quality Christian education as low as possible.
In comparison with many other institutions, Point’s tuition costs are low. All Hybrid textbooks are provided to the student by Point University. Textbooks alone can cost students approximately $600-800 per semester at many other colleges and universities.
Because Point is a private university, it does not receive state-funded aid other than student scholarships, such as HOPE. Point must rely on private support from various donors: individuals, alumni, churches, corporations and foundations.
Your investment in a Point education is a wise one! You are receiving a high-quality, Christian, private college education at a much lower cost than at many other private colleges and universities.
FINANCIAL AID INFORMATION
Very few students can afford college without financial aid. Point’s Financial Aid Office is more than willing to work with students to come up with a financial aid package that will meet their needs. Approximately 99 percent of Point students receive some sort of financial aid, including need-based grants and education loans.

TUITION PAYMENT PLAN
A payment plan is available to students who are unable to meet their financial obligations through financial aid and prepayment of their bills or for those who prefer the convenience of installment payments.
Hybrid students can make payment plan arrangements in-house through the Student Services Office. All previous balances must be paid before students can participate in the payment plan. Students must apply for tuition payment plans before the payment deadline for each semester. Please note: If one of the available payment options is not selected and completed by the payment deadline for each term, your course registration will be voided and you will no longer be permitted to attend classes.
STUDENT STIPEND PROCESS
Stipends remaining on student accounts after charges are applied will be issued when the money is received from the source by the University. Stipends will not be made until Point is in possession of the funds. Once Point has received the funds, stipends are processed within 14 days of a credit balance, as required by federal regulations. Students should not depend on receiving their stipends by a certain date.
