Finish Line Scholarship

In 2017, the most common reason college students across the country gave for dropping out was financial pressure. For this reason, the Point University Chairman of the Board André Kennebrew established the Finish Line scholarship in 2019 to help Point University students graduate college.

The Finish Line scholarship is designated for upcoming Point seniors who exhibit leadership on campus, academic excellence in the classroom, and Christ-like service throughout the Point community. The scholarship funds assist in students’ tuition and fees during their final year at Point. Since its establishment, the Finish Line scholarship has positively impacted its recipients by enabling them to graduate college and go on to begin successful careers throughout the world.

Each Finish Line scholar has a unique story of how the Finish Line scholarship has impacted their lives individually. You can read some of their stories below.
