Fall Preaching Seminar on October 7

Point University will host Dr. Crawford Loritts, well-known pastor and church planter, for the fall Preaching Seminar on Friday, October 7. Loritts will speak on “Diverse Ministry Done Well.”
Loritts has been a church planter, served for 27 years on the staff of Cru (Campus Crusade for Christ) and served for 15 years as senior pastor of Fellowship Bible Church in Roswell, Georgia. He currently serves on several boards, including Cru, FamilyLife and Chick-fil-A. As president and founder of Beyond Our Generation, Loritts is committed to encouraging, mentoring and helping to shape the next generation of Christian leaders.
“Crawford Loritts not only believes that we are all one in Christ Jesus, as the Bible says in Galatians 3:28, but he has also modeled what that means in local ministry,” said Professor Wye Huxford, dean of the College of Biblical Studies and Ministry, which is hosting the event. “He will help us all see what the church must be in the coming years as we engage a gospel of oneness.”
The seminar will be held on campus at Point, beginning at 9 a.m. Registration is free, and the event includes a continental breakfast and lunch. Details and registration information can be found at point.edu/preachingseminar.
