STARBUCKS® COFFEE NOW AVAILABLE IN WEST POINT
For the first time, Greater Valley residents can now enjoy Starbucks® coffees at Point University’s McKinney’s Coffee Shop. This is the first and only coffee shop in the Greater Valley Area offering popular drinks such as Frappuccino blended beverages, seasonal lattes, iced coffees and brewed coffee selections.
McKinney’s, has historically been a place for Point University students to study, interact, purchase school supplies and enjoy a cup of coffee. Since opening in West Point in 2012, McKinney’s has become a vibrant gathering place open to the community, conveniently located on Third Avenue in West Point.
“We are excited to incorporate the Starbucks brand into our coffee selection,” said Troy Higdon, Director of Auxiliary Services. “This will be a wonderful offering for our students and community”.
Point University senior Donte Phillips is looking forward to continuing to interact with members of the community. “It creates an opportunity for the community to get to know and become more involved with Point University students and for us to meet people from the area,” he said.
Located near the intersection of Third Avenue and Ninth Street, the coffee shop is inside the Point University bookstore and dining hall.
Current coffeehouse hours are Monday-Friday 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
