Where are you from?
What brought you to Point University?
I always dreamed I’d teach biological sciences at a Christian institution of higher learning…God’s divine plan led me to Atlanta Christian College/Point University.
What are some of your hobbies?
Playing piano, painting
What advice would you give to new students?
Treat your college career as your full-time job, and be prepared to put in 8 – 12 hour days of learning and studying; however, stay in balance and schedule “down-time”. Work diligently from the first day of class…don’t wait until the second half of the semester to “get serious”. Finally, don’t be ashamed to ask for help.
What are your research interests?
Animal models of behavior and the underlying neurobiology; gender differences in animal behavior
Are there any interesting facts about yourself that you would like to share with new or current Point Students?
I’m a former rat brain surgeon.
