Join us on Saturday, May 10 at 11:00 a.m. EDT as we celebrate the fall class of 2024 and the spring class of 2025 during our commencement ceremony! The ceremony will be held at the beautiful and historic Columbus Convention and Trade Center in Columbus, Georgia. There will be free parking offered in the facility’s parking deck and paid parking on the downtown, city streets of Columbus, GA.
The ceremony will be live-streamed on the University’s YouTube channel for those unable to attend in person. For those that will be attending, tickets are not required. However, graduates are encouraged to limit their guest attendance to no more than 10 individuals.
For those traveling and in need of hotel lodgings, you may want to book a hotel room at our special, discounted group rate with the Columbus Marriott ($184.00 USD per night, breakfast included) downtown. The hotel is located directly across the street (within walking distance) to the Columbus Convention and Trade Center where the commencement ceremony is taking place. If you are interested in this special rate and making reservations, please book by April 9, 2025 by using this link or you may contact the hotel directly and tell them you’d like to reserve a discounted room for Point University’s spring commencement weekend. *Any reservations made after April 9 will need to be made by calling the hotel at 706-324-1800 and either the front desk (Option1) or the sales department (Option 2) will assist them.*

Our Keynote Speaker this year is President Dean Collins!
After serving as President of Point University for 20 years, Dean C. Collins ’79 will retire at the end of June. In honor of this transition, he will address the graduates as they embark on their own new beginnings, marking his shift to the role of Chancellor.
