The biblical studies program is designed to train students to read the Bible well, equipping them with the tools needed for faithful interpretation of scripture and guiding them in textual studies of the Old and New Testaments and historical theological issues.

What can you do with a degree in biblical studies?

Students in the program  will be exposed to diverse and highly-qualified faculty, while engaging in deep study of the scriptures. They will be well-trained for nuanced and thoughtful engagement with other viewpoints. Many biblical studies graduates continue on into academia and successful church and parachurch leadership.

It is purposefully designed to guide students into more complex interpretative issues and prepare them to train others in their congregations, classrooms or other places of ministry. Students who pursue the B.A. degree will also be trained in ancient biblical languages.
