This certificate exists for members of local churches who are either very involved in ministry in their church or who are members of the church staff but have little formal education in the area of biblical studies.
This certificate serves two primary purposes: to equip volunteer ministry leaders to be better prepared to serve in the area of their passions, and, in churches where staff members have little or no formal theological education, it can equip them to better lead in their areas of ministry.
Your character and your faith will be strengthened with courses taught from a biblical worldview—from business to biblical studies, math to ministry.
Point provides mentoring programs with faculty, alumni and local business professionals tailored to your personal and professional goals.
Our 18-to-1 student to professor ratio provides a small class sizes where you will learn from faculty with real world experience.
The program offers students a solid foundation in the area of biblical studies, including an overview of the whole Bible, a course on the life of Jesus, a course on interpreting Scripture, a course on spiritual formation, and a course on how to integrate faith into life and career.

“My Point community has saved my life. I’m aware that sounds dramatic, but the path I was traveling was leading me to places I could’ve never been proud of. I’m surrounded by a large group of people who only want me to succeed.”
This certificate is intended for those already serving in ministry; however, if a student desires to continue their education, these credit hours will count towards a degree at Point.
