Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science
The Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science prepares students with the foundation of exercise and fitness and teaches the strategies used to design and implement comprehensive health programs for the public and private sectors.
Within the exercise science major, a student may select to follow the pre-professional degree toward graduation or the traditional degree. The pre-professional degree is tailored to enable students to meet the majority of professional graduate program pre-requisite coursework in related fields. Students following a traditional degree toward graduation will be prepared with the necessary knowledge and skills for an entry-level career in a related profession upon graduation.

- Describe physiological concepts related to exercise testing (e.g., maximal aerobic testing, anaerobic testing, and body composition analysis).
- Demonstrate the ability to develop safe and effective exercise programs for normal and special populations.
