Dees Joins Point Board of Trustees

Point University announced today that Paige Raynor Dees ’03 has been named to its board of trustees.

“I’m excited about Paige joining the board because she cares deeply about what we do here at Point through our mission of educating students for Christ-centered service and leadership throughout the world,” said Dr. Stacy Bartlett ’05, president. “Her experience as an alumna, the wide variety of church ministry roles she has held and her current work through LifeWise makes her uniquely qualified to join our board of trustees. Her knowledge and passion will serve the University well as we seek to fulfill our mission.”

Dees earned an associate degree in business and a bachelor’s degree in biblical studies from Point University. She later received her master’s degree in biblical counseling from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Dees has served in a wide range of ministry roles, including at North Point Community Church and Passion Conferences, and has helped launch release-time Bible education programs in Georgia and Alabama. She now serves as the Georgia State Director for LifeWise Academy, helping bring Bible classes to public school students during school hours.

Dees has been married to her husband, Jason, pastor of Christ Covenant Church in Atlanta, since 2009. They have three children — Emery Anna (13), John Kellis (11) and Raynor (9).
