What brought you to Point University?
Was asked to come back as a professor after finishing graduate school by then-President James C. Redmon

What are some of your hobbies?
gardening

What advice would you give to new students?
God gave you two ears and one tongue. Listen twice as much as you talk!

What are your research and/or consulting interests?
The biblical idea of community; important issues of social justice in western culture like immigration, prison systems, capital punishment, etc.

Are there any interesting facts about yourself that you would like to share with new or current Point student?
My hat size is 8 and ¼, giving me – literally – the biggest head on campus

Brief Bio:
Married to Vicki Kindt Huxford since 10 August 1973.

Two Children: Sarah Huxford (who is an assistant professor of communications at Point) and Bethany (who is an adjunct instructor in the CPGS)

Served twenty years as preaching minister at First Christian Church of Tyrone

Traveled extensively for Seminary of the Nations, teaching indigenous pastors in places like Albania, Cuba, Chile, Mexico, Thailand, etc.

Currently in my 40th year teaching at Point Univesitiy.
