Homecoming Set for October 21-22; Mascot Name to be Revealed

Point will celebrate ten years on its West Point campus during Homecoming weekend, scheduled for October 21-22 this year. Alumni from all campuses are encouraged to attend and reconnect with classmates, faculty and staff.

On Friday, guests can enjoy campus tours, followed by a luncheon honoring alumni who graduated 25 or 50 years ago. This luncheon was canceled the previous two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic, so alumni from the classes of 1970-72 and 1995-97 are invited to join.

Friday evening, alumni and the community are welcomed to attend the Homecoming concert, held in the Scott Fine Arts Center at 6 and 8 p.m. During the concerts, the SFAC recital hall will be dedicated in memory of Vicki Kindt Huxford ’73. A reception will be held between concerts. After the concerts, an event for recent graduates will be held in West Point.

On Saturday morning, everyone is invited to join the alumni tailgate at Ram Stadium in Valley, Alabama. The Skyhawk football team will take on Union College at noon. During halftime of the game, the University’s new mascot’s name will be revealed!

Please make plans to join us for the weekend’s events. More information and registration are available at point.edu/homecoming.
