PLC Moves to Abbey Glen
Traditional Point University students at the West Point campus will have a new apartment complex to call home for the 2016-17 academic school year. In August of 2016, the Point Living Community (PLC) will be moved to Abbey Glen Apartment Homes, located in West Point. This new facility is a short drive from the Lanier Academic Center, comparable to the drive from the current Valley complex.
This new construction will be a private gated community, exclusive to students for the 2016-17 academic year. Abbey Glen boasts upgraded amenities and large living spaces, and students will continue to enjoy a convenient shuttle service to campus. Additional features include athletic practice fields, intramural fields, and an onsite fitness facility.
Abbey Glen will serve as the PLC until residence halls are constructed near the main campus in West Point. The future residence halls will be conveniently located a few blocks from the Lanier Academic Center and downtown amenities.
