Point University has welcomed its largest incoming class in University history this fall, breaking its previous enrollment record.
“We’re grateful to impact a growing number of students at Point University through a variety of modalities — residential, online and dual-credit enrollment,” said Dr. Stacy Bartlett, chief of staff. “While many institutions are seeing a decline in enrollment, Point is growing.”
Across all its programs — undergraduate, graduate and dual-credit enrollment — Point University enrolls a total of 2,817 students.
The University credits much of the increase in enrollment to its subscription program, which was launched in spring 2022. As part of the University’s goal to make college accessible to everyone, this program allows employers to partner with Point by paying an annual fee that allows their employees to take online college classes for free.
“To be able to report record enrollment at a Christian University in 2023 is a testament that God is at work in and through Point University,” said Rusty Hassell, chief enrollment officer. “With our online program reach leaving footprints across the nation, I can’t wait to hear the stories of how lives are impacted by what they learn and experience through their time as a student. From the student-athlete to the working parent finally trying to complete their degree, we continue to educate students for Christ-centered leadership and service, throughout the world!”
