Point graduate and longtime trustee Marvin Bussey ’86 has been featured in a new mural in East Point, Georgia, paying tribute to some of “Atlanta’s finest.”
Bussey is the founding executive director of Teens at Work, Inc., a resource and support program for youth on the south side of Atlanta. He is featured in the mural alongside other well-known figures from Atlanta history, ranging from John Lewis to WSB-TV anchor Jovita Moore to Tyler Perry.
“It was almost tear jerking to look at John Lewis and Jovita Moore and Tyler Perry — and see myself up there. I’m like, how did that happen?” Bussey told WSB-TV.
