Meet Our Team
Dr. Toni Anderson, Chair and Professor of Voice
Dr. Anderson holds a Ph.D. in Higher Education from Georgia State University, a Masters in Vocal Performance from The New England Conservatory of Music and a Bachelor of Music from Lamar University. Dr. Anderson is a mezzo-soprano,
conductor, author and speaker. She has performed over sixty concerts, operatic productions, musicals and solo recitals in the United States and abroad. Dr. Anderson has served as Musical Director/Conductor for numerous musicals and operas. She has been an active member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing throughout her career, serving at the state level as the Registrar, Vice-President and President, and as the Southeast Regional Governor on the national board. Dr. Anderson is the winner of the 47th Georgia Author of the Year Award for her book Tell Them We Are Singing for Jesus: The Original Fisk Jubilee Singers and Christian Reconstruction, a social history of the ground-breaking choral ensemble from Fisk University. She has also participated in the making of two PBS documentaries on the ensemble.
Callie Hammond, Assistant Professor of Music
Callie Knight Hammond holds a Bachelor of Music Performance in violin from Columbus State University in 2003 and a Masters in the Art of Teaching from LaGrange College in 2012. As a performing classical violinist, Ms. Hammond is the assistant concertmaster of the LaGrange Symphony Orchestra. She has also played with the Atlanta Pops Orchestra, Columbus Symphony Orchestra, Albany Symphony Orchestra, Auburn Symphony and Montgomery Symphony Orchestra. She has been the featured soloist with the LaGrange Symphony Orchestra, performing Bruch’s Violin Concerto in D Minor in 2008, and Vivaldi’s “Summer” from The Four Seasons in 2017. As a multi-style violinist, she plays with the band Front Porch Collective and has recorded with blues artist Jontavious Willis at Capricorn Studios in Macon, Georgia.
Jason Hernandez, Adjunct Instructor of Music Technology
Jason Hernandez leads the Music Technology program. A versatile percussionist, producer and seasoned audio engineer, Mr. Hernandez has performed and recorded in a variety of jazz, R&B and contemporary Christian settings. He earned his Master of Music in Music Production from Berklee College of Music and his Bachelor of Music in Composition and Music Technology from LaGrange College. His work centers on music production, mixing and editing within the modern recording industry.
Ken Passmore, Director of the Point Percussion Ensemble and a Collaborative Artist

Ken Passmore holds a Bachelor of Music Education from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas and a Master of Music in Percussion Performance from Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia. He has performed with regional symphonies throughout the South and has traveled as an accompanist across the United States and in Europe. Mr. Passmore has served in various music ministry positions for over 30 years. He currently teaches piano and percussion at St. Anne-Pacelli Catholic school in Columbus, Georgia.
Dr. Allison Croysdale, Adjunct Instructor of Music, Trumpet

Dr. Allison Croysdale holds a Ph.D. in Music Education from Auburn University. Her research at Auburn focused on the influence of support systems on the career decisions of faculty members. She is a frequent guest clinician for bands and trumpet studios across the southeast. Dr. Croysdale is currently the principal trumpet with the East Alabama Community Band.
