Wye Huxford Center for Spiritual Formation
“Who is Jesus, and what difference does He make?”
If you have ever taken a class with Professor Wye Huxford, you’ve probably heard him ask that question. Throughout his years in the classroom at Atlanta Christian College, now Point University, he challenged students to learn who Jesus is and to think about the difference he makes in our lives and in the world.
This spring, Wye will retire from Point after 50 years of full-time service. He has been a professor, an administrator, a preacher, a leader, a mentor and a friend to so many of you. After his retirement, we want to ensure his legacy is appropriately honored on this campus.
That’s why Point is excited to announce that we are raising $100,000 to create the Wye Huxford Center for Spiritual Formation. This center will ensure that Point students have access to on-campus worship experiences, discipleship opportunities, ministry internships and Feast, our local campus ministry, for many years to come.
Will you consider a gift to honor Wye and ensure his legacy at our University is recognized by future generations of students?
If Wye ever stayed after class to help you understand a complex theological concept, now is the time to give. If he took you to breakfast or lunch to talk about difficulties you were facing in life, now is the time to give. If he challenged you to take the next step in your career or ministry, now is the time to give.
