Point University Puts “Faith in Action” this Giving Tuesday

Point University will participate in Giving Tuesday, a global generosity movement, on Tuesday, November 28.

Founded in New York City in 2012, Giving Tuesday is an independent nonprofit encouraging others to give generously throughout the world every year on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving.

Point University has participated in Giving Tuesday for several years, engaging students, faculty, staff and alumni through various competitions and incentives. This year, the University is launching an alumni decade challenge. At point.edu/givingtuesday, alumni can view the contributions of each decade of alumni and out-give one another in order to become the winning decade. Alumni can also view photos and videos from their time at Point University, formerly Atlanta Christian College, on the site.

Point’s theme for this Giving Tuesday is “Faith in Action,” based on James 1:14, which says, “I will show you my faith by what I do.” The University is encouraging all friends of Point to put their faith in action through generous giving this year on Giving Tuesday.
